The Patch 2.4 PTR of Diablo 2 Resurrected is going to launch officially very soon, what items should you grab, and how to build your starting character? Here we are going to show you a new D2R 2.4 build - Tiger Strike/Dragon Claw Assassin, featuring skill tree, skill point distribution, attributes, gears, runewords, mercenary, and more details.

New D2R Patch 2.4 Build - Tiger Strike/Dragon Claw Assassin for Diablo 2 Resurrected 2.4 PTR

This D2R 2.4 Assassin build by MacroBioBoi is a Uber killer, it’s going to be an elite sniper, you have basically a fake teleport with Dragon Flight, but the skills we are going to max out are Tiger Strike and Dragon Claw. To be dual claw wielding, then max out Claw Mastery and Fade, especially for the Uber’s fight in every other circumstance.

Equipment & Gears

The build itself is sitting on a Fury Claw in one hand, a Jade Talon in the offhand, the Wrist Sword is really nice because it brings a good Mana leech as well as huge hit recovery, +2 to Martial Arts and Shadow Disciplines is also pretty good, it doesn’t slow you down. Check out what D2R runewords and weapons are used in this Assassin build.

- Runeword: Fury (Feral Claws)

- Sword: Jade Talon, Fortitude

- Crown of Ages

- Amulet: Highlord's Wrath

- Boots: Gore Rider

- Ring: Raven Frost, Havoc Turn (crafted)

- Belt: Nosferatu's Coil

- Gloves: Imp Grip (crafted)

These are going to be Crushing Blow gloves, it's also going to bring a lot of life steal and good resistances onto your kit, everything down in the charms is like specifically life resistances and hit recovery that you need and then everything else is 420 max charms, but if you can't find a 420, a 320 with hit recovery, fast run/walk, or whatever.

Mercenary

You can get your hands on the Act II Might Mercenary to increase your damage even further, and then use a Reaper's Toll to apply Decrepify to increase crowd control on monsters as well as decrease their physical damage reduction with a max Tiger Strike fully buffed as well as having Decrepify on your Uber. Mephisto with Decrepify, you are doing 23,000 damage per second and you're killing Mephisto in 16 seconds. There's a good chance that your mercenary is going to die, but a 16 second kill time on Mephisto for an Assassin is still crazy.

D2R 2.4 Assassin Build Tips and Recommendations

Even though we're using max level Fade instead of Burst of Speed, we're actually only two frames off from the fastest attack speed possible on Dragon Claw and on Tiger Strike, we're actually hitting the fastest frame even without Burst of Speed. So your damage output is not lacking from rocking a max level Fade, but when you are farming anything other than the Ubers, you can use Burst of Speed to be at the max breakpoint and enjoy that incredible mobility, being able to have a Shadow Master as an additional tank is a really nice quality of life addition as well as having access to Cloak of Shadows if need be.

With your basically Fake teleport of Dragon Flight and the incredible mobility of Burst of Speed, you're able to zip around any battlefield, and this build to be able to go in on places like Chaos Sanctuary and Worldstone Keep, there is nowhere that you can’t farm on this build, if you like an incredibly tanky fast-paced option for the Assassin that isn’t just a Kicksin or Trapsin, you can try out Physical Martial Arts with powerful kits.
