D2R 2.4 Nova Sorceress Build - Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder Build Guide
When it comes to the build for Diablo 2 Resurrected 2.4 Patch, here is a Nova Sorceress build by Alzorath being pretty strong, it can perform fairly well with boosted damage and gives us much better chances of causing enemies to be reaction locked by Nova wave. It doesn't quite do as well against bosses but is one heck of a beast whenever it comes to clearing farming areas and getting as many drops as possible. Though the 60 point investment in damage is a bit steep since it does cause you to have to cut corners elsewhere, it is worth noting this build is strong in most places.
Attributes & Stats
As far as the setup and stats are a bit more complicated, you want enough stats for your gear, which is very low with this build, but this is a build where you will be balancing energy and life. Unlike many other D2R builds, we need to invest in vitality in this 2.4 Sorceress build due to the extra point requirement to max out Nova. We are not going to be able to go as hardcore energy shield unless we get very specific and rare gear.
- Strength: 107
- Dexterity: 42
- Vitality: 261
- Energy: 242
Skill Tree & Points
Obviously, the key skill of this Nova Sorceress build for D2R 2.4 (Ladder) is Lightning Spells, below are the skills trees.
- Lightning Spells: Nova - 20 points, Lightning Mastery - 20 points, Static Field - 20 points, Telekinesis - 20 points, Energy Shield - 1 point
- Fire Spells: Warmth - 15 points
Gear & Equipment
It’s not recommended to use Crescent Moon alternative to this, since running Infinity on your mercenary is going to cost you a lot of mana recovery and force you to invest more in this aspect of the build, if you are gonna go with the Crescent Moon alternative, do not go the energy shield variant. Another major source of resist penetration is the helmet with Griffon's Eye, this is also important for a faster cast breakpoint, this build is better for Nova than it is for other lightning builds. Except for the expensive Diablo 2 items, there are also budget options you can play around with, such as dual Stones of Jordan and a faster cast amulet with plus skills.
