What Is Contract Expiry Signing In FIFA 21 Career Mode?
Contract Expiry deals (Pre-contract expiry deals) is a type of business based on a pre-agreement between the player and your club. Like in the real football world, a player when his contract expires or when the contract is about to expire, his football club releases him as a free agent. Pre-contract is where the players are bought by the club before their current contracts expire. In FIFA 21 career mode, you also can sign a pre-contract with these players including some high rated big names without paying any transfer fee in January and have them join your squad in the summer, provided you don't balk at the wage demands. As you know paying wages is always much less than exhausting your entire budget to bring in top-class players.
Which Players Are Available For Contract Expiry Signings?
You can contact any player who is 24 years or older and has six months of contract remaining for a Pre-contract expiry deal.
What Is The Differences Between Contract Expiry Signing & Free Agent Signing?
A contract expiry signing is always tied to their current club and can be signed six months before their contract expiration date. A free agent does not have a current club and is available to sign immediately.
What Profit You Can Get To Sign Contact Expiry Players In FIFA 21 Career Mode?
1. Signing a player contract before the contract expires is a huge advantage for your club, which does not involve any transfer fees, and your only financial expense is the player's salary.
2. If you don't accept the fees the clubs ask for, why not just wait till January and sign them on a pre-contract? It saves you much more budget.
3. Even if they are not appropriate for your technical project, you can resell them within a season by making easy money, or if they are useful for your team, you can use them since you signed them for free!
When Is The Best Time To Buy FIFA 21 Contact Expiry Players?
January 1st will give you the best chance to bring the player in. In January, especially in the first days of the winter transfer window is the best time to buy these players, because at the beginning of January there are more players available to sign pre-contracts with other clubs.
You can sign players at any time during the last six months of their contract, but it's best to act early to prevent other clubs from getting involved.
When Will The Contact Expiry Player Join Your Club?
The player will join you as soon as he completes his contract at his old club, which means that you will be able to use your new player from July 1.
