The transfer window 2021 is a month away, European giants have commenced their January business. Which big signings we can expect to see and who will be assigned a Ones To Watch card in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team? In our post on winter transfer & OTW predictions, we will give you detailed foresight.
FIFA 21 Winter Transfer Update & Winter Ones To Watch Cards
The winter transfer window 2021 will open on Monday, January 4! There's just under a month left until football clubs can resume their transfer dealings. After the COVID-19 pandemic shortened summer break and injuries plagued the top leagues, clubs across Europe have been planned their January signings for several months. Though the summer window was of course extended to cover the first month of the elongated 2020-21 campaign, many clubs spurned by top targets in the summer often return in the winter transfer window with improved bids and better contract offers.
With the transfers approved in the real football world during the January transfer widow opening time, EA will proceed to move the transferred players from their old lineup to the new squad in FIFA 21 throughout January and early February. Then the players who are involved into the winter transfers will get a card updated with new club info and some players even could be assigned a Ones To Watch card.

When Will January Winter Transfers Release In FIFA 21?
In FIFA games, transfer players will be released in batches during the winter transfer every year. This means that FIFA 21 players do not need to wait until the winter transfer window is closed across Europe before they have the opportunity to obtain these updated player cards. In FIFA 20, the first batch of winter transfers was released on January 18. If EA continues to follow this rule, FIFA 21 winter transfers will start from January 18, 2021, and the full list will be released in multiple batches throughout January, February, and March.
When Will FIFA 21 Winter OTW Release?
In winter transfers, we will always see some high-profile transfers, and there will definitely be some top players who will release the new FUT dynamic card Ones To Watch. However, these Winter OTW cards will not follow the update of winter transfers but will be added into the FUT 21 Rating Refresh. Again, if EA follows the rules in previous games, the release date of FIFA 21 Winter OTW cards should be scheduled on Friday, February 12, 2020.
