FIFA 23 Player Ratings Upgrades & How Does Ratings Refresh Promo Work

Every year in a new version FIFA, several Ultimate Team cards will receive updated ratings and in-game stats in order to better reflect their current real-world form. FUT 23 Ratings Refresh players will have their base cards replaced with the newly upgraded ones if they are included in this promo. Any existing lower versions will remain in teams and on the transfer market, with the new ones being the only ones available in packs.

In most cases, the gold cards increase by 3 or 4 points, while the silver and bronze cards increase at least 5 or 7 points. In exceptional cases, this upgrade can sometimes reach 15 points. Usually, the higher the original rating is, the lower the boost is.
