Blizzard has nerfed all classes in Diablo 4 and multiple legendary aspects right before the Server Slam weekend and this is what's going to be live during the Server Slam weekend, so you can test it. So maybe you want to play during the Server Slam weekend if you weren't planning on it before. And also this is what's going to ship live because Diablo 4 has gone gold, so these changes are going to be in the live game.
Check this guide, we're going to go through all classes' nerfs for Diablo 4 Server Slam, Druid, Barbarian, Necromancer, Sorcerer, and Rogue. We also talk about the nerfs for legendary aspects.
#1. Diablo 4 Barbarian Nerfs for Server Slam
- They nerfed Hammer of the Ancients, it's going to deal less damage.
- They also nerfed by 50% damage Upheaval, Furious upheaval got a 50% damage.
- Not only that, but they also nerfed the Thorns build, they decreased the amount of thorns that you get from strategic challenging shout. They also nerfed amount of thorns you get from Outburst which is you get 20 Thorns for each 25 bonus maximum life you have, that was cut to 10 bonus Thorns, so that's a huge, that's 50% nerf on how much Thorns you get from outburst.
- They also nerfed Tough as Nails, we didn't expect Thorns to be the best build in the game, but apparently, they had to nerf it because Tough as Nails, the other Thorns passive for Barbarian was also hugely nerfed. The amount of thorns that you get has been reduced from plus 20% up to 200% down to 3% up to 30%, absolutely crazy how much they completely killed the Tough as Nails.
- They also nerfed rally and cry, it's now going to reduce give you less resource regeneration, every time you level it up, it's going to give you less. They also nerf tactical rally and cry, it will no longer give you plus 50% increased resource regeneration now, it will be 20%, they took 30% off of it, they reduced the damage of marshall vigor which is damage reduction against Elites is increased.
- They also reduce the duration of War Cry, the duration used to be for 8 seconds, now it's 6 seconds.
- They also nerfed Guttural Yell, the damage reduction was cut in half, the damage reduction of aggressive resistance was reduced by 1% while berserking each skill point up to max of 30% instead of max of 40%. Counter are offensive, while you are 45 over 50% of your max life, you deal 5% increase damage, now it's 4% and each point adds 4 instead of 5. And the damage reduction of defensive stance was also moved, reduced increases the damage reduction gained while you fortified by an additional 3% now down to 2%.
#2. D4 Druid Nerfs for Server Slam
- They reduced the spirit gain of storm strike.
- They also nerfed Landslide, sizable damage drop to Landslide.
- Also they nerfed Pulverize, increased the usability of mall and pulverize. What increasing usability means it got nerfed overpower will now occur every 12 seconds instead of every 10 seconds while you remain healthy. That's a freaking 20% increase in the duration.
- They also nerfed enhanced shred to only give you 1% of your max life instead of 2, so less healing when you're shredding.
- They reduced the amount of spirit gain you get from Basic Skills from abundance from 10% to 6% up to a Max of 60 instead of a Max of 100.
- They reduced the damage reduction of cyclone armor by half, it used to be 20% non-physical damage reduction, now it's 10. That was a very good idea because that ability was broken.
- They increased the damage of companions, active damage. When you activate your summons, the Ravens now do double damage.
- Vine creeper has been renamed to poison creeper and its active damage has been tripled. The damage was tripled for trample for some of these buffs, trample is now going to do 3 times as much damage before it was 25%, now it's 75%. And then when you get enhanced trample, it will do 120 more damage than previous. It dealed 30% bonus damage and now instead it will do 150 bonus damage when you get enhanced trample.
- They also nerfed provocation, when you remain in wear bear form for at least 25 down to 20 seconds, your next skill will overpower, now it's 30 seconds down to 15 seconds.
- They also nerfed Perfect Storm, instead of dealing 20% increased damage, your storm Stills will deal 15%.
#3. D4 Necromancer Nerfs for Server Slam
- Bone splinters used to do 22.5% weapon damage, now it does 8, completely nerfing the Bone Necromancer.
- Blood Lance got 50% damage buff. Core skills cost more essence but deal increased damage. Instead of dealing up to 100% increased damage, now it does 50% at Max.
- They nerfed corpse explosion by 50%, they nerfed plagued corpse explosion instead of 10% increased damage per, slowed stun vulnerable which stack, now it's 8% instead.
- They also nerfed Fueled by Death, you deal 4% increase damage, after consuming your corpse now is 3.
- They also nerfed minion survival, deaths demise, your minions cannot lose more than a percentage of their maximum life from a single instance. The maximum amount has been reduced, so minions can die more easily from bosses.
- They also nerfed the Golem from The Book of the Dead, they reduce its damage from 35% to 26.9.
#4. Diablo 4 Rogue Nerfs for Server Slam
- They nerfed twisting blades, when twisting blades return, active cooldowns were reduced by one second per enemy they passed through, now it's reduced by 0.25. Not only that but enhanced penetrating shot lost half of its damage, penetrating shot you steal 20 increase damage per enemy appearances now it'd only do 10% so penetrating shot is nerfed.
- They nerfed dark shroud, it used to get 10% Critical Strike chance if you had at least two active Shadows. Now if you have at least 4 active Shadows, you get 8% Critical Strike chance. So the requirement is higher and the buff is lower. Critical Strike chance has been reduced from enhanced Shadow imbue went from a 25 increase Critical Strike chance to 15 and imbued skills will now gain less from Precision imbuement from 5% baseline to 3 per skill point.
#5. D4 Sorcerer Nerfs for Server Slam
- Base damage reduced by 14% chain lightning, and it chains less, nearby enemies and you up to 6 times, now it's up to five times prioritizing enemies. Greater chain lightning was nerfed as well, instead of 25% increased damage is 10 increased damage when it chains off you.
- Elemental dominance was nerfed, instead of dealing 4% increased damage per point, it's now 3.
- They nerfed Enhanced Frost Nova, instead of reducing its cooldown by killing enemies, Frost Nova reduces its cooldown by two seconds will now be one second up to four seconds per cast, used to be six seconds per cast.
- They nerfed mystical Frost Nova, Frost Nova makes enemies vulnerable for 4 seconds increased to 8 against bosses, that was nerf to 6 against bosses, no longer will it be as good against bosses. You're going to get a nerfed ice armor to get less barrier gained from damage. You're going to have worst mystical, ice armor, less barrier gained from damage against vulnerable terrible enemies,
- They nerfed Hydra base damage reduced from 30% to 12%, 60% damage nerf. And it doesn't last as long, it used to last 12 seconds, now it's going to last 10 seconds.
- They also nerfed ice blades, damage nerfed, the enchantment effect was nerfed by 50%, requires twice as much cooldowns. For every 40 seconds and cooldowns you spend instead of every 20 seconds you spawn an ice blade.
- Enchanted ice blades cooldown reduction reduce nerfed.
- Summoned ice blades cooldown reduction global percentage nerfed, instead of 50 cooldown reduction, it's now 20% applied to your other skills.
- They got the nerfed hammer.
#6. Legendary Aspects Nerfs for Server Slam
- The nerfs in the codex of power is absolutely insane, you are ready for this Barbarian aspect of limitless rage, each point of Fury you generate well at maximum Fury grants your next core skill 50% less increased damage than before, it used to be 60 to 120 now it's 15 to 30. They nerfed the damage of aspect of limitless rage by 75%, they should rename it to aspect of limited rage because they literally just nerfed it by 75%.
- They also nerfed aspect of berserk ripping, that was great for the bleed build. So now you're going to inflict less of the base damage that has additional bleeding damage whenever you deal direct damage while berserking from 22 to 20%.
- Aspect of Anemia has a lower chance to stun direct damage against bleeding enemies, had a chance to stun them now.
- Aspect of the Stampede used to gain one additional companion, in addition your companion skills deal 100 to 150% bonus damage, that got reduced from 100 to 150 was reduced to 10 to 20.
- Storm skills, the werewolf skills has been nerfed. This is now going to grant 4 spirit instead of 10 spirits, so a 60% nerf on the amount of spirit you gain from Storm skills.
- Accelerating aspect, critical strikes with your core skills increase your attack speed by 20 to 40 was reduced to 15 to 25, almost 50% nerfed.
- Conceited aspect deal 23 to 33 increased damage leave a barrier active was reduced to 15 to 25%. Both minimum and maximum were reduced.
- Aspect of Retribution was nerfed, dealing increased 30% to 50& increase damage to stunned enemies, now 20 to 40% increase.
- Rapid aspect was nerfed, less attack speed will be granted from basic uh skills from Rapid aspect.
- We've got Edge Masters aspect nerfed, aspect of the expectant nerfed damage, smiting aspect nerfed damage, Starlight aspect nerfed damage.
- Your Golem has a 10 to 30% chance to reduce its active cooldown by two seconds, was reduced to a one to four percent chance.
