Diablo 4 Best Leveling & Farming Dungeon - D4 Best Dungeon for XP & Gear Farm Post Nerf
6/16/2023 11:41:44 AM

In the latest Diablo IV hotfix, Blizzard has adjusted the elite monster density in dungeons, are Ruins of Eridu and Iron Hold still good after Nerf? This post is going to introduce the top 5 Diablo 4 best leveling/farming dungeons post Nerf for the fastest XP and gear.

Diablo 4 Best Leveling & Farming Dungeon

Diablo 4 Best Leveling & Farming Dungeon - D4 Best XP & Gear Farm Post Nerf

Which is the best dungeon in Diablo 4 for the fastest leveling and farming post-nerf? Below are five of the greatest D4 dungeon options to run when you are advancing on your endgame content, the first choice is depending on what you want, the best XP or gear farm.

1 - Ruins of Eridu

Sinvicta Gaming did test some popular dungeons in the game post-nerf and below are some numbers in terms of XP farm. In conclusion, even though with nerfs, the Ruins of Eridu is still going to be the most efficient dungeon to farm XP, they did nerf all the elites that spawn in here, you basically almost never see any elites now, that kills the amount of loot that you can get, also hurts the XP. However, compared to other dungeons, it is still very good for leveling. In addition, Iron Hold also has massive elite packs of mobs and offers an average of 8.8 million XP, second after the Ruins of Eridu on this list.

Forsaken Quarry: 7,769,192 XP/Hour

Uldus’s Cave: 8,736,462 XP/Hour

Ruins of Eridu: 9,983,640 XP/Hour

Champion’s Demise: 7,845,908 XP/Hour

2 - Uldus’s Cave

Even though Forsaken Quarry and Uldus’s Cave are not the best choices for XP, they are still good dungeons to farm gear. There is a very good concentration of elites and the most legendaries doing those paths have been coming from Uldus’s Cave. If you're looking for XP and legendaries.

3 - Forsaken Quarry

The Forsaken Quarry is not too bad, you do still get a fair bit amount of rewards there in all the elite packs, but they're not as densely packed as Uldus’s Cave. An advantage of the Forsaken Quarry is that, it’s basically a straight shot and is very linear, there is not a lot of packs in the first part, but when you get to the second part, there are going to be packs of elites. This dungeon also did hold the horde mechanic, you don’t have to clear all the little mobs, and there are some good shrine spawns.

4 - Black Asylum

What other dungeons are good for XP and loot farm after Nerf in D4? Black Asylum is one of the best and earliest dungeons that you can do literally at the beginning of the game, and it has a very insane amount of mobs, the mob density is going to net you a very good amount of Diablo IV item drops such as Ancestral gear if you're on World Tier 4, and also a good experience. Black Asylum is quite a bit larger, the mobs in it are ranged and it is recommended to join a group. This is one of the best dungeons for you to level and grind gear, you can start running it from lower world tiers and once you get to world tier four, the drops are insane.

5 - Demon's Wake

If you want to farm more elites, Demon's Wake is the way to go. It has a slight walk time in between packs at the beginning, once you get to the larger room within the dungeon, it will become a little easier to grind without taking breaks. You are also able to get a butcher to spawn in this dungeon. Compared to Black Asylum, Demon's Wake has a bit more melee mobs and there are lots of casters.
