Elden Ring Best Arcane Weapons 1.06 - Arcane Weapon Tier List After Patch
When you are looking for the best weapons for your Elden Ring 1.06 builds, take a look at the Arcane Weapon tier list from NorZZa, from best to worst.
S-tier: Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear
- Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear is a Great Spear that requires 27 arcane, this is one of the best great spears in the game, it's got a fantastic ash war that is a huge AOE around you, the Bloodboon Ritual you can do this behind walls or objects or any kind of things as well, you can hit tons of enemies with this great spears are piercing weapons, you can hold a shield and punch through them. We can get real benefits from their physical and fire damage, and you can absolutely make quality builds out of it.
A-tier: Eleonora’s Poleblade, Dragon Communion Seal, Rivers of Blood
- Eleonora's Poleblade is a Twinblade needs 19 arcane, this is a fantastic twin blade option if you're looking to make a dexterity and arcane build, as all of the arcane builds really are the blood blade dance is super valuable to use, it's got great scaling, it's a really solid weapon with inbuilt blood loss buildup, it also does physical and fire damage,
- Dragon Communion Seal is a Sacred Seal scales with 10 faith and 10 arcane, you could make it with faith in an arcane build and even make a dragon priest build using this Elden Ring weapon and the dragon incantations, it also got great scaling and it has such a low requirement of both faith and arcane stats. You could definitely use this seal to make Elden Ring builds that are not specifically into arcane or into faith. You could use this to cast some really cheap incantations.
- Rivers of Blood is a Katana that requires 20 arcane, it was absolutely the S-tier and even best arcane weapon in Elden Ring, it has great combos that you can use, it does physical and fire damage and has such great scaling with dexterity and arcane. After Patch 1.06, the weapon itself and skill got nerfs, so it is probably not the best but still high A-tier.
B-tier: Marais Executioner's Sword, Morgott’s Cursed Sword, Bloody Helice
- Marais Executioner's Sword is a Greatsword that needs 23 arcane, you could use the sword in general such as combining the sword with the staff and an arcane spell, but if you're just using a pure strength kind of setup using arcane, this is the only sword that you can use. Based on the greatsword changes, Marais Executioner's Sword can be put into B-tier after patch 1.06 in Elden Ring.
- Morgott's Cursed Sword is a Curved Greatsword that requires 17 arcane, it's a solid weapon, it's got decent dexterity scaling though it does benefit dexterity over arcane, so you want to put more points into dexterity and then use the arcane stat, it's kind of like the secondary because of the way that this weapon scales. And it's just a boss weapon that you can't really change any effects on and there is a much better arcane scaling boss weapon in the game.
- Bloody Helice is a Heavy Thrusting Sword that needs 17 arcane, it is a piercing weapon you can always hold your shield up and then poke through it, it's got some interesting or unique animations being a heavy thrusting sword that there are really many of these out there. It's got good physical damage scaling and good arcane scaling once you get it to level 10.
C-tier: Ripple Blade, Reduvia
- Ripple Blade is an Axe scale with 20 arcane, axes suffer from a very similar issue to hammers where they have poor heavy and light attack animations, it's much better for an axe, but it's not great. You can buff this weapon with consumables, but you can’t change the Ash of War. If you are going to make a pure arcane build, this is a solid option.
- Reduvia is a Dagger that needs 13 arcane, it does have blood loss on it, which can be triggered very quickly when you combo with another dagger, it's also got solid ash of war Reduvia Blood Blade on it, so you get that wave of blood that fits in front of you, dual wielding daggers is a solid way to play.
D-tier: Albinauric Staff, Ripple Crescent Halberd, Regalia of Eochaid, Serpent Bow
- Albinauric Staff is a Glintstone Staff that needs 12 arcane, this is the only staff that has arcane scaling and because of that, if you wanted to make an arcane build that also uses some intelligence, using some spells that kind of thing, you could absolutely use this stuff. But, arcane and intelligence almost have no synergies that can be used between them to make this stuff usable, there is only two spells that actually use arcane and they are both these bubble spells, which are so slow to cast and do such poor damage. there's no reason really to mix intelligence and arcane
- Ripple Crescent Halberd is a Halberd that needs 20 arcane, it solely scales with arcane, so when you maximize your arcane, you'll get heaps of value for this weapon. The reason why it is put here is that it is just a general use weapon that you're probably going to use it's not really great, it doesn't have a good depth of different attacks that you can use.
- Regalia of Eochaid is a Straight Sword scale with 15 arcane, it has the same ash of war Eochaid's Dancing Blade as Marais Executioner's Sword, while it's basically better than this weapon in almost every category. Overall, this is a good weapon, but there is a better alternative.
- Serpent Bow is a bow that requires 11 arcane, it combines perfectly with the Serpent Arrow itself to do heavy poison on enemies, it's a decent bow with Mighty Shot, it doesn't apply deadly poison like the Serpentbone Blade or the Venomous Fang
F-tier: Varre’s Bouquet, Clinging Bone
- Varre’s Bouquet is a hammer in Elden Ring that requires 24 arcane, this is considered the worst arcane weapon, it has pretty bad attack animations with just your normal heavy and light attacks, and it also has really terrible scaling in terms of being an arcane weapon even when you max it out. It's also a unique weapon, so you can't put your own Ash of War on it and change it into where you like, it does really really low damage compared to practically every other weapon.
- Clinging Bone is a fist that requires 16 arcane, it's not a bad fist weapon on the whole, but you can't change its Ash of War and the Ash of War Lifesteal Fist is pretty average, it only works on human enemies, it also has a slow wind-up, it's probably not very viable to use in a lot of situations.
