First of all, let's go over some tips to create the best jumpshots for three-pointers:
Don't pay attention to letter grades at all, there's literally a glitch jump shot out there that has an A plus in every single one of these stats and it's probably one of the worst jump shots we have used this year.
When it comes to creating a jumpshot the Base Jumpshot is the most important thing.
Releases 1 and 2 is just going to be a visual cue to help you time the shot better so releases 1 and 2 aren't going to make the jumpshot worse or better, they're only going to affect the visual cue on how easy it is that for you to time when you look at the jump shot. So the biggest key is the base to the jumpshots.

Best Shooting Badges for 3PT Builds
Now let's go over the best shooting badges in NBA 2k 23 to help you do the best jumpshots:
Now this is obviously going to differ depending on what build you are and all that good stuff, let's go ahead and go over your badges whether you're on Current and Next Gen
Best Shooting Badges for 3PT on Current Gen
Green Machine
Agent 3
Limit Brain
Limitless Range
Deadeye
Blinders
Best Shooting Badges for 3PT on Next Gen
Tier 1: Amped, Clutch Shooter, Volume Shooter
Tier 2: Green Machine
Tier 3: Agent 3, Limitless Range
Now obviously it's going to be a little different considering we have tiers, Agent 3 and Limitless Range are still the best badges for shooting when it comes to tier three, so if you can't get blinders, it's not that big of a deal unless you're a small guard try to get blinders. Now, of course to the other tiers whether you have tier two or tier one and depending on what your build is Green Machine and Amped enter the next two best shooting badges and following that we would say Volume Shooter and Clutch Shooter. Other than that unless you're a spot-up build and you need Claymore, there's nothing else you really need.
Top Tier Best Badges

Best Settings (Gameplay & Controller Settings) To Get Best Jumpshots for 3PT Rating Builds
Let's go over and look at the best settings for shooting in NBA 2k23:
Shot Feedback: All Shots - To show in the top right or the top of your screen in the game, what percent covered all the shots you're taking or your opponent is taking and it's going to give you a better idea of what's open and what's not open.
Shot Meter: Off - To boost your green window, allow you to shoot more greens and if you're not used to not shooting without the shot meter just get used to it turn it off and just go from there, you might be bad at first but eventually you'll get good at it
Shot Timing (Current Gen): Shots Only - Putting on Shots Only or Old Shots depending on if you want to time your layups or just your jumpshots
Shot Timing Release Time (NextGen): Early/Late - Basically allows you to choose when you want to release your shot, so you're going to release the button that early right before the shot, lets go of your hands late a little after the shot lets go of your hands, or very early way before let's go with your hands are very late way after it.
Best Tips To Get The Best Jumpshots for 3PT Rating Builds
The first thing you'll want to do is go to My Health on Current Gen and go over to get boost on Next Gem, and basically, a tip we have is to buy jumpshot boost. If you're not buying jump shot boost, you're going to shoot significantly worse. You shoot better with jump shot boost, your green window gets bigger. It's just better another thing you can do is buy Gatorade, you don't have to buy Gatorade but the more enters you have after you get open, the more likely you are to make your shot so Gatorade would help as well.
Takeover on Current Gen obviously Spot Up Shooter is the best takeover and then obviously Limited Range is by far the best shooting takeover on next Gen.
Go to the My Court and do drills, if you're not good with no shot meter this is a good place to practice with no meter, obviously, the latency is going to be a little different but go practice dribbling around shoot with your jump shot, get used to the time and get used to the shot cue.
