Diablo 4 is getting closer to release one day at a time. Of course, as get closer, given more and more information, this time specifically giving some pretty interesting patch notes.
Diablo 4 New Huge Patch - Diablo 4 Dungeon, Class& Buffs Changes, General Quality Of Life
1. Diablo 4 Patch Notes Update - Layouts Of The Dungeons
Here is the first big confirmation that it means something real for us starting. Then they've redone the layouts of a few of the dungeons that players were commonly complaining about, specifically Caldera Gate defiled catacombs derelict Lodge Forbidden City horfrost demise Immortal emanation cordragan barracks mallwood and Reimscar caverns. Many people were saying they found themselves having to backtrack awkwardly in the dungeon which results in a large amount of time, just spent sort of running around rather than killing stuff constantly which isn't particularly fun, they took that feedback into account and changed some stuff up also worth noting in the notes here that they use these specific phrases to describe this.
2. Diablo 4 Patch Notes Update - Dungeon Gameplay
They've done some nice quality-of-life changes for any dungeon objective that is to Kill All Enemies in an area when you're down to the last few, they will actively run towards you instead of just you having to search the whole area until you find them inanimous based dungeons collecting, some of the Animus will give you some resource back and also reduce your cooldowns by one second rescuing the prisoner-based dungeons has had its time reduced and also drops a health potion when you complete each of the various objectives, and in any of the dungeons that require you finding an object and bringing it back to the pedestal.
Once you have the object on your back, your movement speed is increased by 25, the channel time has been eliminated for placing these items on pedestals and when you interact with these, it will restore your Health Resource potions and reset cool clowns, they've added a mini map ping when a door is opened presumably for multiplayer.
When another player completes an objective, the dungeon objectives to take down a specific structure have been given more combat mechanics, so that you aren't just sitting there whacking an animate object while other things try to defend them, then after that have a nice host of class balance changes which can't test, obviously of course, but are nice to see being thought of this early on.
3. Diablo 4 Patch Notes Update - Classes
They've increased the amount of stun that Elite enemies take before becoming Unstoppable and they've made a bunch of changes to Legendary Powers as well.

character difficulty, resulting in changes to attacks and fight mechanics.

Fixed an issue where the guaranteed elite monster would be absent from a Cellar.
4. Diablo 4 Patch Notes Update - The general quality of life
Finally, some general quality-of-life changes three of these are just sort of bug fixes, but one of them is a much bigger deal, then reset dungeon button has been disabled the main reason that this sucks is if you want to just Farm one dungeon over in and over you now well you can't the reason that they did this, specifically was to stop people from just resetting dungeons when they were probably about to die.
If they were in the hardcore mode which can understand them wanting to avoid, they said specifically that they are looking for a way to reintroduce, this feature in some way in a less all-encompassing way.
Maybe this will lead to timed resetting like once an hour, you can do a dungeon or some sort of group searching mechanic to find other people doing the dungeons, but the literal reset dungeon button is now gone, and in theory, it'll stay that way rest in peace, and that's it for the patch notes themselves.
