Best D2R 2.7 Endgame Mosaic Assassin Build Guide - Ultimate Diablo 2 Season 4 Mosaic Assassin Players 8 Build
This build is so strong, it breaks the game, it makes it seem pretty silly for us to want to play Fire Druid for example. The damage of this build does is exponentially higher than every other class. We’ll go over the gears, the merc setup, the stats and the skill points used, as well as the button mapping. And then we will finish with some p8 chaos sanctuary. Now let's go over the build!
Playstyle for Mosaic Assassin Build D2R 2.7
The Mosaic Assassin build is a hybrid trap and melee build, utilizing traps to deal damage over time while engaging in melee combat with claw weapons. The playstyle involves laying down Mosaic Field traps strategically to control enemy movement, inflict damage, and slow them down. Then, swiftly engage enemies with your claw weapons to finish them off while taking advantage of Burst of Speed for increased mobility.

Best Merc Gears for Endgame Mosaic Assassin Build
- Weapon: Infinity
- Armor: Chains of Honor
- Helm: Flickering Flame
Using a flickering flame for giving Max Fire Res which is overkill on this build, because you're barely getting touched. Chains of Honor for the +2 skills and 8 life leech, so this is the only source of life leech on the mercenary and the 65 all res. Using infinity, a mancatcher for the fastest attack speed, so that he's leaching more often.

Button Mapping
So this is where the spice comes in from this build, so it is using a lot of different skills. So this is how we do the button mapping. So the main charge up is Phoenix Strike and Claws of Thunder. So we have those map to circle and square, and then on alternate which is L2, have two fists of fire and blades of ice. So they're basically using the same buttons, but then you hold the L2 to get the alternate. And then also holding L2, charge up for R1 and R2 which is tiger strike and cobra strike. So that's how we get all 6 charges in for button mapping. Using X which is a main button for unleashing and that's also like your main button for opening stuff and interacting with things.
For pre-buffs, have R1 and R2 to get some extra burst of speed. But what you want to do is on swap, have burst of speed because it goes up to level 32, 33 with battle orders and then have battle orders mapped to R1 and R2 on swap. So the reason for that is this is how you can get up to 24 skills on your controller, weapon swap, separate scale buttons. So this means by default, this is off, you would have the option to map 6 buttons on your main, and then 6 buttons when you're holding the L2 and you have your alternate. If you select this option, then when you swap weapons, for example, when you swap to your CTA, you can have an entirely new map of buttons, so you could have 12 additional ones on your weapon swap.
P8 Chaos Sanctuary
P8 actually helps to get all your charges because it takes longer to kill the monsters, so you can charge it up quicker or not quicker, but easier. So because we got a Defiance Mark and weapon block is very hard to kill us while we’re standing still and attacking. So once we've got all charges, we can just kick through almost everything, players 8. The changes to next hit delay, make it so that all the novas hit, all the damage stacks on top of each other now. So 65 faster cast rate makes it good for teleporting around, speeds are pretty good, but then the burst of speed for making the small adjustments to run and kick, just a better quality of life. Having the faster attack speed as well as run speed is nice quality of life. This is not using any sunder charms because you're doing fire cold lightning and physical damage. For the last seal, use mind blast to convert a couple of monsters before take out and then have one monster left to maintain charges to bring to Diablo. So Diablo players 8 is basically two shots.
