In Diablo IV Season of the Construct, Nightmare Dungeons might be a great way to level, Helltides are always active starting in this season. What dungeons are the most efficient for leveling? Breaking down the D4 Season 3 NMD tier list, let’s take a look at the best nightmare dungeons to farm XP in S3.
Diablo 4 Season 3 Nightmare Dungeons Tier List - Best Dungeon for XP, Leveling & Glyph in D4 S3
To level your character up as fast as possible, a handful of dungeons are worth farming ranked in the S and A tier of the Diablo 4 Nightmare Dungeon tier list for Season 3, which is contributed by their XP income, running speed, layout and some other factors. More D4 tier lists and cost-effective D4 gold are offered at UTPLAY.
S Tier: Blind Burrows, Rimescar Cavern, Ghoa Ruins, Uldur’s Cave, Guulrahn Canals, Howling Warren, Mariner’s Refuge, Deserted Underpass, Underroot
Begin with the S tier, we have lots of dungeons from previous seasons, such as Blind Burrows, Ghoa Ruins, and Uldur’s Cave, all returning meta nightmare dungeons in Diablo IV Season 3. There are also some new contenders, Underroot and Howling Warren are put in the S tier as well. They have nice mob types, you can kind of blast through them fast, and you can farm a good amount of XP. Underroot and Rimescar Cavern are both sorts of locked behind a stronghold, so you will have to unlock those strongholds to get access to them. You're going to be able to just kind of blast nightmare dungeons sort of endlessly throughout this season.
A Tier: Champion’s Demise, Mercy’s Reach, Aldurwood
Continuing on A tier D4 S3 dungeons, if you're running with a group, Champion’s Demise is probably the best dungeon in the game, while if you're playing it solo, Mercy’s Reach is very interesting to farm, it has two rooms that have all of the elites packed into it and for that reason you can just walk into that room and blow up the whole room and then get a ton of XP from that, which does not take lots of time. Aldurwood is sort of like S minus or A plus tier, but it's still very good in the game.
B Tier: Dead Man's Dredge, Kor Dragan Barracks, Akkhan’s Grasp, Shivta Ruins, Charnel House
At the B tier, Dead Man's Dredge was probably the best dungeon in the beta but it only hits the B tier here because Free the Prisoners is a bit slow. The first part of the Kor Dragan Barracks dungeon is slow, but the second part is very dense and has great XP. Akkhan’s Grasp is similar to that, you can get a lot of XP on one side and the other side of the dungeon has some backtracking. As for Shivta Ruins, if you are not familiar with the route, it can be very long and take lots of time.
C Tier: Komdor Temple, Collapsed Vault, Prison of Caldeum, Light’s Refuge, Maugan’s Works, Yshari Sanctum, Path of the Blind
Go down into the C tier, Komdor Temple has some backtracking and it is a little bit large, which is adverse to the movement speed. Plenty of nightmare dungeons ranked in this tier as they are slow, such as Collapsed Vault, Prison of Caldeum, and Light’s Refuge. Maugan’s Works is quite fast, but the mob XP is not good and it also has a Free the Prisoners objective at the beginning and that might make it a little bit slower. Yshari Sanctum and Path of the Blind are not that great.
D Tier: Bastion of Faith, Serpent’s Lair, Tomb of the Saints, Wretched Delve, Betrayer’s Row
We have five dungeons in the D tier, these are not recommended to farm when you are going into Season 3. Serpent’s Lair has serpents that stun you which are annoying to deal with. Tomb of the Saints is awful, there are ghosts on both sides of the dungeon
F Tier: Faceless Shrine
The last dungeon is Faceless Shrine, also the only one in the F tier. It gets Free the Prisoners at the very start of the dungeon, which is very slow, especially when you have cannibals. Once you get past that, the second part of the dungeon, you have to blow up three statues, but it's very easy to miss one of them, they're also really difficult to route correctly, you probably need to backtrack through the entire second part, the entire process is not efficient.
