Last Epoch 1.0 Mastery Tier List: Best Mastery Classes for Sentinel, Mage, Acolyte, Primalist & Rogue
Below is a detailed Last Epoch 1.0 mastery class tier list ranking all masteries from the best to worst for Sentinel, Mage, Acolyte, Primalist and Rogue.
1. S Tier: Paladin, Necromancer, Druid, Falconer, Runemaster
- With Paladin, which is an undoubtedly S-tier mastery, you can choose various different sorts of play styles and deals insane damage, and you are also going to be incredibly tanky. Paladin is one of the best classes to start Last Epoch 1.0, makes your leveling fast and easy. It even does not require any uniques.
- Necromancer joins Paladin in the S tier as it does deal a lot of damage and clear quickly for you, also performs well in the leveling. There are lots of different things to do with the Necromancer, depending on the minion you choose.
- Druid has an outstanding flexibility with a lot of different skills to use, whenever you change into a new form, you will receive a new set of skills that are going to play off of existing skills.
- Falconer is one of the best classes in the Last Epoch 1.0, it never dies, you can deal with all of the enemies while stay alive and focus on your survivability.
- Runemaster did receive a lot of changes going into 1.0, it is still going to be very strong even though with a few nerfs, you are able to get a ton of Ward. There's a lot of things you can do with the Runemaster, it kind of invalidate the other two masteries and probably the best Mage mastery.
2. A Tier: Forge Guard, Void Knight, Warlock, Shaman, Beastmaster, Bladedancer
- Forge Guard is a unique mastery for Sentinel, it is going to be really solid choice for starters in Last Epoch 1.0 Patch, it has a ton of defenses and can also deal good damage. All of the forged weapons feel very good and they can speed up the leveling process, having a bunch of swords going around kills everything for you. Another advantage of the Forge Guard is its survivability, you can stack up a ton of armor and block chance and more good stuff to help you survive while also being able to clear bosses with high damage.
- Void Knight allows you to play as a melee build with Erasing Strike and Void Cleave, and you also do caster thing. So there is a lot of build flexibility when you use this mastery, and it also offers good survivability, it is going to be put in the A tier, following Forge Guard.
- Warlock is strong, but a little bit more relying on unique items, it is still a solid pick.
- Shaman does well in leveling and going through some monoliths, it feels fantastic using the Storm Totem and nothing struggling with it.
- Beastmaster focuses on a lot of minion stuff and these minions are very powerful. You can also do other builds with it, you don’t need to get lots of unique Last Epoch gear.
- Bladedancer is probably controversial, it is completely up to your play style. You may have a tough time surviving with it, but if you are good at using it, it could be an S tier mastery as well. Overall, this is worth playing as you do not need any uniques.
3. B Tier: Lich, Marksman, Sorcerer
- Lich is used for Acolyte, which is a really strong class. The reason that Lich is ranked in the B tier is that a lot of the builds for this class are going to require a lot of uniques, this is not a good thing for a starting character, but once you do get those it is incredibly powerful.
- Marksman is going to be helped out immensely by the new Falconer, without the Falconer, it can only be put in the B-tier. For the most of time, the damage you are going to do is while you are standing. This is a good starting class for players who like bow play styles.
- Sorcerer has plenty of cool things you can do, but for similar routes, it is not as good as Runemaster. But you can get a lot of crit chance and crit damage, you're going to be guaranteed crits on a lot of your skills, and generate a good amount of damage with those crits. Again, some uniques will be required for certain setups, this lowers its viability, especially at the beginning.
4. C Tier: Spellblade
- Spellblade a relatively weaker class compared to others, and is put in the lowest place on this Last Epoch tier list. You can consume all of the ignite stacks on an enemy and have them deal up to 200 % more damage, but it's not exclusive to the Spellblade, so if you're going to end up doing a setup like that, sorcerer or Rune master could be a better choice.
