Diablo 2 Resurrected PTR 2.4 Patch Notes - D2R Ladder Update (Testing) & News
The Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder is an optional ranking competitive system through which a series of game modes are available for players to choose from with a new Ladder-specific class. Each mode has its own leaderboard where ranked players in a limited time. The leaderboard will reset when the Ladder season ends. And Ladder information is provided on the leaderboard UI. The balance changes will have an impact on the Ladder play.
How will Ladder work within the D2R PTR? During the D2R 2.4 PTR, there will be a complete Ladder Season for testing, including season start and end. When the Ladder season ends, your Ladder character will be converted to a non-Ladder character, along with the exclusive D2R Ladder items that are equipped on your character or stored in the inventory. After the season ends and before the next season starts, you need to retrieve Diablo 2 items from the seasonal Ladder shared stash tab to bring them into the new season.
How do you play D2R Ladder in PTR? To participate in the public test realm and play the Ladder season during the PTR, you must have an active game license attached to a Battle.net account and install the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app.
1. Restart the Battle.net desktop app.
2. Navigate to the Diablo II: Resurrected tab on the left-hand menu.
3. Find out the drop-down menu right above the "Play" button and select PTR: Diablo II: Resurrected.
4. Click Install to install it. And your PTR account will be created automatically if you do not have one.
