Best Weapons
1. Rivers of Blood
Rivers of Blood is a Katana in Elden Ring and a good weapon for mid-range combat, it can inflict both Slash and Pierce attacks. Its main identity is Ash of War Corpse Piler, a three-part skill that does multiple slashes. What makes this so potent is its range able to reach really far from the user and hit things in a cone shape in front of you, you can change the attack in any direction in the middle of each attack, which makes it super hard to roll around. In addition, the passive effect of being able to bleed especially paired with a high Arcane stat, will increase the rate of blood loss, then lead you to kill the enemy with one shot if you proc to bleed after the first two swings, as the bleed proc will stun the player and then allow your followup swings to land. Rivers of Blood is a late-game weapon by the NPC Bloody Finger Okina.
2. Flame Art Rapier
Rapier is fast for any Bloodhound steppers or runners that they could run up on a river’s main, for PvP, you can want to use Bloodhound's Step on it as well as bleed scaling to better dodge spell spammers, but for PvE, you can slap Flame of the Redmanes on them which is the best posture-breaking skill in the game.
3. Scavenger’s Occult Curved Sword and Scavenger’s Flame Art Curved Sword
The next two weapons are Scavenger Curved Swords, this is a backup in case what happens to Rivers of Blood, these actually out DPS Rivers against enemies that don’t move much.
Best Seal and Incantations
For the best Seal for this Rivers of Blood build in Elden Ring, you’ll want Dragon Communion Seal, it can scale faith incantations off Arcane, and you can do some decent damage with them. As for Incantations or Spells, you're going to want Flame, Grant Me Strength, Swarm of Flies, Catch Flame, and Dragonfire. The Flame, Grant Me Strength gives +20% physical and fire attack power in PvE and +15% in PvP, it boosts the River’s damage by a lot and also boosts Flame Art Curved Sword against the Elden Beast.
- Seal: Dragon Communion Seal
- Incantations: Flame, Grant Me Strength, Swarm of Flies, Catch Flame, and Dragonfire
Best Armor
Head: White Mask
Chest: Beast Champion Armor (Altered)
Arms: Veteran’s Gauntlets
Legs: Veteran’s Greaves
Best Talismans
- Shard of Alexander
- Rotten Winged Sword Insignia
- Millicent’s Prosthesis
- Lord of Blood’s Exultation
Flask and Spirits
The flask should be Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear and Thorny Cracked Tear for even further consecutive attack boosts which stack with the talismans. And Crimson Bubbletea is a must-have key item for most PvP builds, you can go with Opaline for spirits mimic.
- Flask: Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear & Thorny Cracked Tear
- Crystal Tear: Crimson Bubbletear, Opaline Bubbletear
