There are 4 things that you need for crafting in Diablo 2. You will need a random jewel, a gem, a particular rune, and a particular Diablo 2 Resurrected item. The random jewel and the particular gem are the easiest to get just finding along the way.

Jewels

You just need any random jewel that you can find anywhere. If you're just following people along with bail runs, you can grab a jewel in any difficulty, because the level of the jewel does not matter.

Early on making this recipe by getting life leach on a boot and hopefully getting resistance, walk run or hit recovery which will boost up your character early on.
